Wicklow Gaol Half Marathon Profile

Really enjoyed this run, disappointed I didn’t break 90mins but considering the windy conditions (and the Hills!!!)  I was happy.

Started with a 6 min 25 sec mile …. I think this was just an effort to get warm and then settled into a 6 min 40 pace and felt comfortable. Then hit the hills at 3.5 miles and the pace slowed to a couple of 7 min 30 sec mile pace, they were steep! Fell in with 2 lads for the second half, they were running a nice pace 6 mins 50 secs – 7 mins and finished comfortably,  possibly could have gone sub 90 if the weather had been kinder.

Finish Line.

Finish Line.
